Symphonic Music Publishing, the publishing arm of Symphonic Distribution, was launched in 2019 with the goal of empowering and championing independent artists and songwriters by leveraging innovative technology and personal service to support creative growth and success. Located in the heart of the Nashville music community just off Music Row, we thrive off close collaboration with artists, songwriters, labels, and publishers globally, spanning multiple genres.

Randall Foster

Randall Foster is an innovative entertainment executive and music publishing veteran. He is Chief Creative Officer and General Manager of Symphonic’s Nashville office.  With over 20 years of experience in the music industry, Randall has held various positions in music publishing, record labels, distribution, and synchronization licensing.

Prior to Symphonic, Randall was Head of Creative Sync and Licensing at Anthem Entertainment (then ole Music Publishing) where he achieved massive success in the Wrigley Extra gum ad campaign featuring the now double-platinum single, “Can’t Help Falling in Love” recorded by Haley Reinhart and produced by Foster.  Foster is proud to have published and represented the likes of RUSH, Timbaland, Jelly Roll, Lil Dicky, Jeff Trott, Tony Martin, LoCash, Chris Janson, Jordan Davis, Travis Denning, Adam Hambrick, Mother Mother and many others.

Eric Olson

Eric Olson, Creative Director, has evolved from a prolific writer/producer to a publisher, using his songwriting success to bridge connections within the writing community and explore creative opportunities across genres. His collaborations include Thomas Rhett, Nick Jonas, and many more. Notably, he co-wrote Kelly Clarkson’s “Catch My Breath,” which sold over 1.5 million downloads and hit Top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100. His production work includes tracks on Clarkson’s “Piece by Piece” album and “The Hamilton Mixtape.” Additionally, Eric has secured sync placements with NBC, Pizza Hut, Gillette, and others, and earned a Grammy nomination for engineering on Clarkson’s “Chemistry” album.

Melissa Barber

Melissa Barber, a 2013 graduate of Belmont University, hails from Nashville, where she currently resides with her family. With over a decade of expertise in publishing administration, Melissa spent over 8 years at ole and Anthem Entertainment before joining Symphonic in 2020. Specializing in copyright management, business affairs, and publishing administration, she now concentrates on the latter at Symphonic. Melissa’s passion for the music industry is evident in her dedicated career, making her an integral part of the dynamic Nashville music scene.

Alex Angelo Biography
Born in Florida, and growing up in Ohio, primarily Cleveland and Cincinnati, Angelo recalls that his earliest musical motives were driven by his love for dance and djing. At the age of 7, Alex was dancing for the Cleveland Cavaliers. At the age of 10, he was Djing in the arena during games. At the age of 12, he had a weekly radio mix show on Radio Disney. Alex’s mom is a public school music teacher, and Alex decided early on that he wanted to be the artist ON the records, not just playing and dancing to the music. Through his teens, Alex toured with Austin Mahone, Jake Miller, Shawn Mendes, Fifth Harmony and self-released several songs that have totalled millions of listens on Youtube, Spotify, Apple Music, etc.

 

Now 23, living in Nashville, TN, Alex has grown as a producer/songwriter learning from the likes of Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds and Antonio Dixon, (Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande) and has collaborated with Patrick “J. Que” Smith (Usher, Britney Spears, Chris Brown), GAYLE, Drew Baldridge, Thomas Edwards, VWILLZ, Mackenzie Carpenter, George Birge, Willie Jones, and more.
Logan Turner Biography
Logan Turner is a songwriter and producer from Bowling Green, Kentucky. After an injury derailed his dreams of playing college basketball, Turner taught himself guitar during his recovery. While writing songs throughout college, he decided to forgo law school, take the leap, and move to Nashville.

 

Ten months after arriving, he signed his first publishing deal with Keith Urban, Ross Copperman, and Joe Fisher. Shortly after, he was introduced to his future bandmate, and the two signed a record deal under the name BeXar with Warner Music Nashville. After four years and the birth of his first daughter, Turner decided to step away from the band to fully focus on songwriting and production once again.

 

As an artist, Turner amassed over 50 million streams during his time with BeXar and toured with artists like Keith Urban, Jelly Roll, and Nikko Moon. As a songwriter, Turner has collaborated with and had songs recorded by artists like Russell Dickerson, Cheat Codes, Keith Urban, Kane Brown, Martin Garrix, Dasha, Diplo, and Jelly Roll, among others. He has also worked with A-list producers and songwriters like Oak Felder (Demi Lovato, 5SOS, Chainsmokers), J-Hart (Justin Bieber, OneRepublic, Camila Cabello), Ojivolta (Jon Bellion, Kanye West, Playboi Carti), Ross Copperman (Kenny Chesney, Dierks Bentley, Blake Shelton), Murda Beatz (Drake, Ariana Grande, Travis Scott), Luke Laird (Eric Church, Kacey Musgraves, Little Big Town), and many others.
